Versatile Salad Mayo Fit for Any Emperor

Actually, it’s a common misconception that Caesar dressing and Caesar salad has something to do with the famous Roman Emperor.  The salad’s creation is actually attributed to a great Italian restaurateur called Caesar Cardini.  It is said that Caesar salad was created in his restaurant on the 4th of July in 1924. The restaurant was overrun with celebrating patrons and started to run out of supplies.  Cardini put together what he had - lettuce, chicken, fried croutons and a hastily prepared dressing - and served patrons by tossing the salad tableside for added aplomb!

And the rest, as they say, is history.  Today, thanks to our own fabulous take on the Caesar dressing, we are helping restaurants all over the world to serve signature dishes and side salads they can be proud of.  Our salad dressing range is definitely worthy of any kitchen shelf and includes products you will turn to time and time again.  Perfect in sandwich mixes or tossed with green leaves, our Caesar dressing will keep patrons (and the odd passing Emperor) very happy.
