Never heard of Sriracha sauce?

If 2015 was the year of the avocado, 2016 is sure to be the year of Sriracha wholesale Sauces

It is the hot sauce of choice by the chattering classes on facebook and Instagram

So much so that fan pages have grown promoting the various recipes, memorabilia and even people who have Srircaha on everything including their porridge (Not likely to catch on, trust me)

Sriracha (pronounced sir-rotch-ah or sear-raw-chah) or if you struggle with your Vietnamese pronunciation try “hipster hot sauce” is a must catering food supplies

Sriracha sauce is a Vietnamese hot sauce made from jalapeno peppers, vinegar, garlic, salt and sugar


It has definitely developed a cult following amongst millennials and street food aficionados

If you ask one hundred people aged between 18 and 25 years old roughly 70% will have heard or tried this sauce

Whereas I recently asked a room of industry “foodies” average age of 50 and only 10% had heard of this Srirahca

I make this point as we would love for you to add this to your cafe menu ideas but are your customers ready for it?

If you have a “younger” customer base I have no doubt including Sriracha infused Rotisserie chicken on your menu will be a major hit but what about the customers who don’t know Sriracha

There is definitely an education part for your business to play

I would always suggest sampling the finished dish be it a casserole with rich or a sandwich or wrap

For a hot sauce like this it is definitely a better approach than just sample tasting the sauce which can be a bit on the spicy side dependent on your tastes

The other option of course is to promote the heck out of the new wholesale sauces you have in store

So offer it as a special, sandwich of the day and make sure to shout about it on Social media

Sriracha wholesale sauces is sure to be a great additional to your menu but you can’t rely on customers knowing about it

So do what we are doing and offer FREE SAMPLES and watch it become the catering food supplies of 2016
